This site is a personal project, meant to be a lot of things. I think of this as my little corner of the world, kind of a way to reclaim any sort of ownership in today's landscape. This is somewhere where I can just try to see all versions of myself that exist, outside the scope of the day-to-day life at work, even though I work as a developer, I feel like expressing my love for technology through a site is a very different experience.
The project was born out of a desire to get away from the frenzy of the modern world. With negativity all around social media, the crazed fever around LLMs and AI, and the ever-growing dark patterns that websites use to maximize the time you waste looking at endless rolling feeds and enough advertisements to make you forget what you were even looking at when you started messing around on your phone, I guess I just need a breather from... Well, everything, really.
Thus, I found myself looking at Neocities! I heard about the website a while back, while looking at some videos on youtube, and loved the idea of trying to revive the old school, decentralized internet from the late 90s, so here I am, trying to do my part in following the network's mission!
I intent to fill this with posts about games, music, personal thoughts, stories and any other things that cross my mind, ocasionally serving as some testing grounds for any programming ideas that might come up.
